Xabi Alonso, Momo Sissoko and Pepe Reina are reportedly close to signing new deals at Liverpool.

The Liverpool Echo has reported that midfield duo of Alonso and Sissoko, who was earlier embroiled in speculations of being close to leaving the Reds this summer, and keeper Reina have successfully negotiated the new deals.

The Reds, who have recently tied up skipper Steven Gerrard and vice-captain Jamie Carragher with new four-year deals, have thus ignored interest from a host of clubs to convince the trio to stay at the Merseyside.

Valencia were linked with Reina while Barcelona were reportedly keen on Alonso. Sissoko had been a reported target for Juventus and the Mali international had been quoted as saying he wanted to play regularly if he stays at Liverpool, apparently referring to less opportunities since the arrival of Javier Mascherano in January.
