West Ham Boss Curbishley On Bellamy’s Man City Link

West Ham United, Manchester City Premiership Transfer News

West Ham United boss Alan Curbishley has claimed that Craig Bellamy is in full training, amidst reports that the forward is in talks with Manchester City regarding a transfer to Eastlands.

The Wales ace has suffered injury-marred first season with the Hammers since last summer’s move to Upton Park from Liverpool. And is yet to make an appearance in the 2008-09 Premiership season.

The Hammers have seen the departures of Bobby Zamora, John Pantsil, cancellation of Freddie Ljungberg’s contract and now it seems certain defender Anton Ferdinand will leave as Sunderland’s offer is accepted. The speculation surrounding Bellamy has emerged and Curbishley has dismissed the rumours.

Curbishley told Sky Sports: "It is nonsense. I don't think anybody else will be going. Craig Bellamy is in full training today.

"I want to concentrate on Macclesfield and put in a display so we can look forward to Blackburn at the weekend."
