Tottenham Hotspur are waiting on the fitness front after an injury to defender Pascal Chimbonda on Thursday night during their UEFA Cup tie against Slavia Prague.

Although, Spurs boss Juande Ramos feels the injury is not serious enough to keep the Frenchman out of the Carling Cup final against Chelsea on Sunday, the picture will be clearer today.

"It doesn't seem like a particularly serious injury and he should recover in the three days before the final," the Spaniard said yesterday.

"But the most important time is the first 24 hours and we will check on him and see how he is."
