Tottenham striker Robbie Keane is certain that after the signing of Croatian international Luka Modric from Dinamo Zagreb, Spurs boss Juande Ramos will be all set to plunge into the transfer market and get more talented players to White Hart Lane.

Spurs are said to be keenly interested in roping in strikers for the upcoming season after Dimitar Berbatov seems to be set to move away from The Lillywhites.

“Expectation will be higher because the manager has had more time to bed in,” the Irishman is quoted in The Sun. “There will be new players and we’ve already signed one in Luka Modric.

“I’m sure there will be a few more to follow and that can only help the squad. It’s always nice to see new players because it gives everyone a lift. Next year we’ll see a different Tottenham.”
