Tottenham’s Potential January Transfer Targets - Srna, Gignac & Ibisevic?
According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur are taking an active interest in Croatian winger Darijo Srna, who has also been linked with Premiership rivals Liverpool as a January move from Shakhtar Donetsk looks a possibility. Spurs are also being linked with Toulouse centre-forward Andre-Pierre Gignac and TSG Hoffenheim striker Vedad Ibisevic.
A large-scale changes have taken place in the playing personnel at the White Hart Lane in the summer, but Juande Ramos’ side are clearly lacking in options up front and a creative spark from the midfield as Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov have not been properly replaced, while playmaker Luka Modric and winger David Bentley have disappointed since their summer arrivals.
With Spurs making a dreadful start to the season – their worst since 1912 – Ramos would be looking to boost the side in the winter transfer window and various names are being thrown up as the potential targets. However, it is highly unlikely that there will be many changes to the squad.
