Tottenham Hotspur Player Injury and Suspension News
Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt an injury blow as defender Michael Dawson could be out for ‘two to three weeks.’
The 24-year-old picked up what Spurs boss Juande Ramos revealed as a muscle tear, in the early stages of their 3-0 win at Derby County on Saturday, though the full extent of the injury is yet to be ascertained.
"It's one of those typical things that happens in football all the time. We think it's a muscle tear, how bad we don't know until we have a proper look at him but at the early stages we're thinking that it looks like two to three weeks out," Ramos said on the club’s official website.
Spurs are set to play UEFA Cup Round of 32 against Slavia Prague and the Carling Cup final against Chelsea this month.
