Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas has been injured during Spurs' UEFA Cup match against PSV Eindhoven at White Hart Lane on Thursday evening.

Jenas suffered the injury just after the hour-mark in the match, after being caught in a late tackle by PSV's Edison Mendez. The visitors immediately put the ball out of play so that Jenas could receive medical treatment.

Jenas twisted his left ankle badly in the tackle and had to be stretchered from the pitch. He was replaced by Tom Huddlestone as Spurs searched for an equalising goal after Jefferson Farfan scored for the visitors in the first-half of the first-leg tie.
