Tottenham Hotspur Player Injury and Suspension News
Tottenham Hotspur have released their promising youth striker Terry Dixon after a string of severe injuries forced him from making an impression at the club.
The 18-year-old Irishman, who joined the Spurs Academy in July 2005, was ruled-out for the whole of the 2006/07 season after suffering a dislocated kneecap, with the injury returning to haunt him last September during an Academy match, just as Dixon was expected to break into the first-team.
Dixon has subsequently failed to rehabilitate fully from the injury and following talks with the player, his representatives and Tottenham Hotspur, the decision has been made to release him.
