Slavia Prague defender Marek Suchy has claimed interest from Everton and Rangers as demand for the highly-rated centre-back picks up this summer.

The 20-year-old was apparently watched by David Moyes’ Toffees scout, with Suchy revealing that the talks have started.

"Yes, it is true that these two clubs are interested in me. My agent Pavel Vandas told me," Suchy told idnes.cz.

Although he is undecided as yet on where to move, he added: "A lot depends on the first feeling from negotiations or on how much the coaches will want me in their team.

"At the moment there have been some opening negotiations going on."
