Stoke Linked With Blackburn's South African International Mokoena - Man City, Rangers, Ajax & Schalke Also Linked
Newly-promoted Stoke City have been linked with a move for South African International Aaron Mokoena of Blackburn Rovers.
27-year-old Mokoena joined Blackburn from Belgian side Racing Genk in 2005, but is waiting to see if he is part of new Rovers boss Paul Ince’s plans next season.
The South African is keen to secure first-team football and has been linked with a move to Manchester City, where he would link up again with former Rovers manager Mark Hughes, as well as SPL team Glasgow Rangers, Dutch giants Ajax and Bundesliga club Schalke 04.
Now it appears that Stoke have made initial enquiries about the possibility of bringing Mokoena to the Britannia Stadium, with Potters manager Tony Pulis keen to add a player with proven Premiership pedigree to his squad as he prepares for his first season in the Premier League, according to Skysports.com.
