Stoke City Busy In Transfer Market Claims Club Boss Mark O’Connor
Stoke City chief Mark O’Connor is confident that his side will bring in a number of new faces to the Britannia Stadium before the start of the season.
The Potters are on the verge of completing a deal with Sunderland keeper Marton Fulop, with O’Connor revealing that he has several other transfer targets on his mind.
He told the club's official website: "We may have been over in Austria training for the past week, but there has still been a lot happening on the transfer front.
"There will definitely be some new arrivals before the season kicks off in three weeks' time.
"This squad of players has got us where we are now and we mustn't forget that, but we still need to add more quality and more depth.
"There are a lot of things bubbling at the moment and hopefully one or two of them will drop for us in the next week."
