Spurs Keeper Set To Move To QPR As Rangers Make Bid For Premier League Promotion
Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Radek Cerny has stated he is set to move to West London to join Championship side Queens Park Rangers next season.
34-year-old Cerny has revealed he is set to join QPR on a two-year deal, with QPR expecting to bring in some big name signings this summer as they make a bid for promotion to the English Premier League next season.
Cerny joined Spurs from SK Slavia Prague on an 18-month loan in January 2005, but his stay at White Hart Lane was extended until the end of 2008, with his deal expiring in the summer.
The Czech Republic international admitted in April that he wasn't expecting to extend his stay at Spurs next season, with Spurs boss Juande Ramos expected to make some big new signings this summer.
"As far as I know, they have prepared a two-year deal for me there [QPR]," Cerny told Czech television station Nova TV.
"I want to help Queens Park Rangers gain promotion to the Premier League."
