Spurs’ Jenas To Follow Boateng?
According to reports, Jermaine Jenas could be the next man to leave Tottenham Hotspur after Kevin Prince Boateng departed the White Hart Lane for Borussia Dortmund on loan with a view to permanent transfer in the summer.
According to Mirror, the 25-year-old former Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United central midfielder could be on the move.
Under Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, the England international has failed to produce his top form and as such lost his place in the side. And with the north-Londoners finding themselves in the drop zone after Sunday’s defeat to Wigan Athletic, the former Portsmouth manager is keen to bolster the side.
It has been suggested of late that Redknapp may sell Jenas to raise funds for the transfer targets that is said to contain Wigan midfielder Wilson Palacios.
German U-21 international midfielder Boateng, meanwhile, joined Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season with the option of a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old had joined Spurs in 2007 summer from Hertha Berlin, but had failed to get regular football at the Premiership side.
