Spurs Hand Dossier On Man United & Liverpool Over Their Pursuit Of Berbatov & Keane To Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur have over a dossier of evidence collated over the past year to the Premier League, supporting their complaint over Manchester United’s and Liverpool’s continued pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane respectively.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is said to have questioned comments attributed to him last week, also going on to say it could be “embarrassing” for Spurs if they were to report United to the Premier League.

However, it is understood that those comments are only one of many concerns concerning United and the Bulgarian International, with it believed that the dossier contains evidence of wrong doing by the Old Trafford club stretching back over the past 12 months.

Tottenham have also reported Liverpool to the Premier League, who have consistently been linked with Irish International Keane. The two clubs will now write back to the Premier League, before it is decided if there are any charges to answer to.

Both Keane and Berbatov have stated their desire to leave White Hart Lane, with Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy resigned to losing one of the best strike-partnerships in the Premiership, but there is expected to be bad blood if the transfers do go through, after Levy labelled Ferguson of “sheer arrogance” and being “hypocritical.”

Rafa Benitez has a little history with Levy, when in 2006 he claimed Spurs were “desperate” to sell Jermain Defoe now at Portsmouth, and take Djibril Cisse.
