Sissoko’s Future At Liverpool Uncertain, Everton Interested In Mali Midfielder: Report

Liverpool Premiership Player News

According to reports, defensive midfielder Momo Sissoko is on the verge of asking for a move out of Liverpool.

The 22-year-old Mali international seems to have slipped down the pecking order at Anfield with Javier Mascherano and Xabi Alonso being preferred central midfield option to pair with skipper Steven Gerrard, while Lucas Leiva has also been impressive.

Sissoko, who had only signed a new four-year deal in the summer, is now keen to hold talks with manager Rafa Benitez about his role at Anfield, according to the Daily Mail and could then decide to move on if he is not convinced.

A host of clubs including Everton, Inter Milan and Juventus are being said to be interested in Sissoko, who had joined the Reds in 2005 from Valencia.
