Sir Alex Ferguson is confident that Manchester United will have a psychological advantage over Chelsea when they clash in the Champions League Final in Moscow on the 21st of May.

The Red Devils retained the Premier League title after their 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic at the JJB stadium, while Chelsea drew with Bolton on home turf in the season finale.

"I think Chelsea know we'd rather be in our position than their own position," Ferguson told Sky Sports News.

"We've won the league and there was a joy about the place, it was a great celebration, whereas Chelsea have to pick themselves up after drawing with Bolton yesterday going to the final in Moscow.

"It may not make a difference but it could make a difference.

"Chelsea are very experienced; they have more experienced players than we have but, as I say, the confidence [gained] by winning the trophy yesterday will help us."
