West Brom's Scott Carson Confident Of England Recall
Premiership new boys West Bromwich Albion's new-signing Scott Carson is positive that he can once again break into the England squad.
The former Liverpool goalkeeper spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, but is now happy to have signed permanently.
The 22-year-old hopes that he can impress with the Baggies and earn a recall into the England side.
Carson said: "I just want to get settled now. I've been like a nomad for the last three or four years, going out on loan to three different clubs from Liverpool.
"It will be good to get some roots down and hopefully settle. I can see myself being here for four or five years, even longer than that.
"That's what I want. I did not want to go somewhere and then, after one or two years, not be happy.
"I think I am good enough to get back in the England squad. Hopefully I can settle down and get a bit of consistency and then I will be looking to get back in."
