Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes is hoping that striker Jason Roberts will be available for the Premiership clash at Fulham on November 25.

The 29-year-old Grenada international is recovering from a thigh injury and stepped up his recuperation as he did training leading to Manchester United game last weekend, after being out on sidelines from September.

Rovers boss Mark Hughes told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "He joined in training on Saturday and he did most of the session.

"Obviously it was just a light preparation session for the United game, but he's back in the group and that's the first time we've seen him in a while.

"Hopefully, by the end of the international break he'll be an option again. He's got a chance for Fulham if everything goes okay."
