Rosenborg Confirm Fulham’s Bid For Swedish International Fredrik Stoor

Wigan Athletic, Fulham, Blackburn Rovers Premiership Transfer News

Rosenborg have come forward to reveal that Fulham have put forth a bid for Swedish international Fredrik Stoor.

The 24-year old who was an integral part of the Swedish national team in Euro 2008, caught the eye of Cottagers manager Roy Hodgson, who is keen on bringing the player to Craven Cottage.

Premier League rivals Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic have also been linked with the player, however Rosenborg sporting director Erik Hoftun confirmed Fulham are definitely ahead in the race for the defenders signature.

“We have received an approach from Fulham, but no price will go out to the media,” Hoftun told newspaper Tronder-Avisa.

“We have just extended Fredrik’s contract, and we are obviously very interested in retaining him.

“But if the offer is high enough, we sell him.”
