Robinho Ready To Snub Chelsea If Real Madrid Double Salary, Liverpool & Villa-Linked Joe Cole Future Linked To Brazilian?

Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa Premiership Transfer News

Chelsea-target Robinho has reportedly asked Real Madrid to double his annual salary to £4 million if the Spanish champions want him to stay.

The Brazilian forward has been linked with a move to Luiz Felipe Scolari’s Blues this summer, but reports have suggested that Real do not want to sell him. As such, it is claimed that the 24-year-old was left unsettled at the Bernabeu feeling that he has been ‘undervalued.’

Now the reports in Spain claim that the former Santos man wants his annual salary to be at par with the club’s top earners.

Madrid daily AS also reports that Robinho’s overwhelming preference is to stay at Real but with an improved contract.

The paper says Robinho has no enthusiasm for English football and has admitted his dislike for the British climate.

Blues boss Scolari is keen to complete his summer transfer plans with the capture of Robinho. And with winger Joe Cole now under speculation regarding his Stamford Bridge future as Liverpool and Aston Villa are reportedly waiting to pounce, it could be an anxious wait for the concerned parties.
