Real’s Mijatovic Admits Man United’s Ronaldo Move ‘Impossible’

Real Madrid seem to have thrown in the towel on trying to lure Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bernabeu with sporting director Predrag Mijatovic calling the move 'impossible.'

The Spanish giants have been persistently linked with the 23-year-old Portugal winger, and were recently reported to be aiming to make a world record offer.

However, Man United assistant boss Carlos Queiroz recently said that no amount can buy Ronaldo, who has scored 38 goals so far this season.

"Right now it is impossible to sign Cristiano Ronaldo," Mijatovic told Marca.

"Who would not like to have him in their team? But we need to be realistic because his would be a very difficult signing."

Mijatovic also dismissed rumours of a meeting with former Real boss Queiroz.

"There has been talk about lots of things that have nothing to do with reality. They have also said I have been seen with Carlos Queiroz and it is not true," Mijatovic added.
