Real Madrid To Offer £20million For Arsenal & Man City Target Huntelaar?

Arsenal and Manchester City target Klaas-Jan Huntelaar could be moving to Spanish giants Real Madrid from Eredivisie side Ajax in the January transfer window, according to recent reports.

Los Merengues are looking for a replacement for Ruud van Nistelrooy at the Bernabeu, with the former Manchester United player out injured for the rest of the season.

According to Spanish paper Marca, the Ajax ace is on top of Real’s shopping list and are planning to make a £20million for the Dutch International when the transfer window opens in January.

However, the La Liga giants are sure to face competition for the signature of Huntelaar, with City keen to lure the Dutchman to the Eastlands Stadium, while Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been a huge fan of the Ajax player since he scored the first goal at the Emirates in Dennis Bergkamp's testimonial.

Huntelaar joined Ajax in 2005 from SC Heerenveen and is currently one of the most sought after players in Europe, with the striker scoring an incredible 75 goals in 90 appearances for Ajax during his time at the Amsterdam Arena.
