Reading Striker Leroy Lita Aiming To Start His Premiership Campaign Against Bolton Wanderers This Weekend
Reading striker Leroy Lita is geared up to mark his start in the Premiership this season in the Saturday’s match against Bolton Wanderers.
The England U-21 international had suffered a freak leg injury while stretching getting out of bed.
“I started kicking the ball on Monday so I’m going to train and see how it goes,” said the former Briston City player.
“I hope to be fit enough for Bolton, I feel fine and the injury feels okay.”
“There’s still a little bit there but I can do all the kicking and other things and I’m feeling good and ready to go.”
Steve Coppell's side have four points from three games while Sammy Lee's Bolton are yet to open their account in as many games.
Lita added: “Bolton have obviously had a difficult last three games but they are going to be at home on Saturday and will be looking for our first win. We are going to go there looking for a win as well so it will be a tough game for both teams.”
