Portsmouth’s Muntari To Make Big Chance Count After Man United Miss As Inter Come Calling
Sulley Muntari is determined not to miss the chance of moving to Italian giants Inter Milan as the Portsmouth midfielder suggested he is still riled at not making it to Manchester United.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has maintained that he is keen to keep the Ghana international, who had joined the Premiership outfit from Udinese for £7million last summer.
However, the 23-year-old is keen to take his opportunity to get to Champions League side, but revealed his respect for his current boss and love for Pompey fans.
"There are teams when they come to you, you need to listen to them," Muntari is quoted as saying in the Telegraph.
"Harry has developed my game, he has been a father figure to me. I love him, and also the Portsmouth fans, but when Inter call you need to listen."
He added: "I already missed a chance to play for a super team (Manchester United) this time I need to seize it."
