Manchester City, Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur Premiership Transfer News
Lassana Diarra has brushed aside the speculation on his future as he looks forward to start his first full season at FA Cup champions Portsmouth.
The young French midfielder moved from Arsenal to Fratton Park in January after being starved of regular football at the Emirates Stadium. He, however, was impressive for Harry Redknapp’s side ever since.
Diarra’s performances for Pompey, led to summer speculation that Tottenham and Manchester City are interested in him, but the 23-year-old has dismissed the transfer talk.
“Where will I play next season? Why such a question? I am under contract at Portsmouth,” Diarra said in L’Equipe.
“I feel fine at the club, they have allowed me to play in Europe and win the FA Cup.”
