Liverpool, Manchester City, Portsmouth Premiership Transfer News
Portsmouth and Manchester City are being linked with Yossi Benayoun with Pompey boss Harry Redknapp expressing his admiration for the Liverpool winger.
The Israel international, who had joined the Reds last summer from West Ham United, is said to be keen for regular football. And he along with team-mate Peter Crouch are interesting Redknapp.
Redknapp is quoted as saying in The News: “Of course I'd like to have someone like Yossi Benayoun.
“He's a top player. I don't know what the chances are of getting him out of Liverpool.
“It's known I like Crouchie, too. But it doesn't look like anything is happening there. I think Liverpool want a bit too much money for him.
“If that's the case then we'll move on to the next option.”
