Portsmouth Linked With Lokomotiv’s Bilyaletdinov & Liverpool’s Pennant As Chelsea’s Wright-Phillips Set To Stay

Portsmouth, Liverpool, Chelsea Premiership Transfer News

Reports in Russia claim that Portsmouth are interested in Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.

The 23-year-old winger has drawn attention to his talent after impressing with Russia in Euro 2008 qualifying as well as the finals.

With Pompey boss Harry Redknapp looking to sign an attacker after Sulley Muntari left for Inter Milan, Bilyaletdinov has emerged as one of the prime targets.

Redknapp is also linked with Liverpool’s Jermaine Pennant, after it seems that he has resigned to missing out on Chelsea attacker Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Blues boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has recently stressed that Wright-Phillips is happy at Stamford Bridge and that there is no plan to sell the former Manchester City man as he is considered a ‘very important’ player.
