Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has expressed concern on Lassana Diarra’s fitness ahead of this weekend's Premiership clash with Wigan Athletic, but defender Sol Campbell could return.

The France midfielder has a hamstring problem and is out of Wednesday’s friendly against England in Paris.

Redknapp told BBC Radio Solent: "Lassana's struggling for Saturday. I don't want to risk him.

"Hamstrings can be dangerous. I've got to make sure that he's right."

England defender Campbell is back in training after a knee problem and Redknapp said: "He's had his first training session back involved with the rest of the lads and seemed fine."
