According to reports, Liverpool are working to tie-up the sale of winger Jermaine Pennant and forward Andrei Voronin.

The Reds boss Rafa Benitez is still keen to bring £18m-rated midfielder Gareth Barry to Anfield from Aston Villa, and as such needs funds to make the final move after having four earlier offers rejected by their Premiership rivals.

Blackburn Rovers are linked with Pennant, while Voronin is reportedly a target for Bundesliga outfit Hamburg. Both players were not part of the Reds side that beat Sunderland in the Premiership opener on Saturday.
