Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant has suffered a hamstring problem and will miss tomorrow night’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal at Anfield.

The 25-year-old picked up the injury in Saturday’s 1-1 draw in a Premiership game at the Emirates Stadium.

Pennant, who was not a part of the Reds side that secured a 1-1 draw in the first leg in North London last week, adds to the injury victims Daniel Agger and Harry Kewell on the sidelines.
