Pavlyuchenko Enjoying Life In England Despite Tottenham’s Poor Start
Tottenham Hotspur may be languishing at the bottom place in the Premier League table, but their big-money summer-signing Roman Pavlyuchenko has revealed that he is enjoying life at the North London club.
The Russia international forward, who switched from Spartak Moscow to the White Hart Lane last month in a £13.8m deal, has had difficulties in getting adjusted with the football part, along with language, but the 26-year-old has overall found life more relaxing than in his homeland.
“Come on! I haven't turned into an Englishman yet. I haven't got any British habits. What do they do there? Drink tea with milk in the morning and eat bacon and eggs? No, it's not for me. At least not yet,” he told Sovetski Sport.
“I do probably look more relaxed, its actually very peaceful in England and I like it very much.”
