Arsenal Player Injury and Suspension News
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Robin van Persie was taken off at Derby on Monday night, only as a precaution.
The injury-troubled Dutch striker, who has suffered from knee, muscle and thigh problems earlier in the season, was substituted at the interval of the 6-2 win for the Gunners.
After the game, Wenger said: "It was his thigh. But the substitution was precautionary. There is no problem."
The North-London side are third in the Premiership table, four points behind leaders Manchester United and Chelsea, with two games remaining.
