Newcastle United winger James Milner is fit for the weekend trip to West Ham, but Emre is still out.

Milner had suffered a foot injury against Liverpool and was out of action for last six weeks, while midfielder Emre picked up an ankle problem while playing for United's reserves last month.

Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan told Newcastle World TV: "I won't be taking Emre to West Ham because he needs more time to build up his fitness.

"But James will come with us because he has retained a lot of his fitness and has been out for a shorter amount of time."
