Villa, Arsenal, Liverpool & Everton On Alert As Johnson's City Talks Stall
Michael Johnson future at Manchester City is uncertain after rejecting a new contract over the weekend with Aston Villa being the latest club to show an interest in the England U-21 starlet.
With talks of new deal at the Eastlands Stadium stalling, Everton, Arsenal, Liverpool and Villa, who have all been linked to the 20-year-old Johnson could move for the midfielder before the transfer window closes on August 31st.
Johnson has reportedly rejected a new double your money contract over the weekend, but talks are continuing between his representatives and City, skysports.com understands.
The Blues off-field problems would not appear to have helped the situation , with reports that chairman Thaksin Shinawatra needs to sell players to balance the books at the Manchester club.
