Match Previews: Birmingham, Reading & Fulham Under Relegation Threat As 2007-08 Premiership Season Reaches Finale

Reading, Portsmouth, Fulham, Derby County, Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City Premiership Match Previews

The two teams who will join relegated Derby County back into the Championship, will be decided on the final day of the Premiership season on Sunday with Birmingham, Reading and Fulham under threat of losing their top-flight status.

Birmingham are at home against Blackburn Rovers and a victory for Alex McLeish’s side is also insufficient if other results do not go their way.

Reading are in danger as well even as they take on rock-bottom Derby at Pride Park, as the Royals have the second-most inferior goal-difference behind the Rams and as such a victory might not be enough to save Steve Coppell’s side.

Fulham need a victory at FA Cup finalists Portsmouth to stay in the top flight and Roy Hodgson’s men have their destiny in their own hands.
