Liverpool's New Signing Keane Backs Berbatov To Shine At United
Liverpool's new signing Robbie Keane has insisted that Premier League rivals Manchester United will be even more lethal this year with the inclusion of his former Tottenham Hotspur team mate Dimitar Berbatov in their squad.
Keane is currently preparing for his national sides clash against Georgia in Germany. He claimed that he was not at all surprised to see Berba moving to Old Trafford in the same year that he left Spurs.
The Republic of Ireland skipper insisted that even though it was a good move for the Bulgarian International, United are the ones who will make the most out of the deal.
Keane said: "It was no secret that he was going to go there, everybody knew that Berba was going to go to Manchester United.
"It’s a fantastic move for him, but it’s a massive one for Man United because he is a top, top player.
"I have seen that at first hand and he will be a massive addition to the Man United squad."
