After a surprise team selection against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in a tie Manchester United won by the narrowest of margins, manager Sir Alex Ferguson has said that Louis Saha and Anderson will be fit for Saturday’s game against Sunderland at Old Trafford.

Ferguson had claimed that French striker Saha and new boy Anderson would be ready for Spurs clash and given that it was a crucial match, the duo were expected to be back from their injury problems. However, both players were left out obviously as Fergie wanted them to have week’s training more.

But after the match, a relieved Ferguson revealed that he will get the duo back for Saturday.

"Louis Saha and Anderson will be fit for next Saturday's game and Gary Neville will be back in a couple of weeks. We are getting there but it is just going to take a bit of time."

Cristiano Ronaldo will complete his three-match ban with Sunderland game, while Wayne Rooney will be out at least until October, with foot fracture that he suffered in the opening weekend’s draw against Reading at home.

Meanwhile midfielder Park Ji-sung and young keeper Ben Foster can only return in the New Year after major knee surgery.
