Manchester United’s top summer signing Dimitar Berbatov has revealed his interest in a move to Italy in the future.
The 27-year old striker is currently living his dream at Old Trafford after sealing his protracted transfer from Tottenham Hotspur on the deadline day of the summer transfer window even as Manchester City and Italian giants AC Milan were also interested in the Bulgarian.
Although Berbatov maintains that he is happy at the Theatre of Dream, he has not chucked out a switch to Serie A.
“It is true – I always liked Italian football, but I preferred England,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I am happy there. For now.”
