Manchester United Chief Executive Gill Confirms Cristiano Ronaldo Is Going Nowhere - Real Madrid Transfer Refuted

Manchester United Premiership Transfer News

Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo will definitely be part of the Manchester United team next season after Man Utd chief executive David Gill "unequivocally" guaranteed that Ronaldo will remain a Red Devil.

The recent speculation of a transfer move to La Liga giants Real Madrid this summerhas forced Gill to make a statemnet confirming that he will be going nowhere.

Ronaldo, who has scored 41-goals this season, recently fuelled the speculation of a move by saying to Spanish TV's Antena 3: "I am happy here [Manchester United] but let's see what happens after the Champions League Final."

But today Gill told Sky Sports News that there is no way he is willing to let their star player leave, saying: "Unequivocally yes, Cristiano will be with us next season.

"He's got a long-term contract, why would he leave one of the best clubs in Europe? We see no reason for him to leave and I'm sure he does not either."
