Manchester City Manager Eriksson Set To Lead Squad To Thailand & Hong Kong For Post-Season Tour
Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is all set to take his squad to Thailand and Hong Kong on their post season tour.
The squad which includes players, coaching staff and the manager will leave on Tuesday for their 10 day tour which will include two friendlies. The first match is slated for the 17th of May against Thai League All Star XI in Bangkok, while the second will be against Hong Kong Invitational XI on May 22nd.
Along with the first team side many players in the Under 18 side that won the FA Youth Cup this season will be on the tour.
Commenting on the tour, City’s Chief Executive Alistair Mackintosh said: “I’m delighted that Sven is taking a strong squad to Thailand and Hong Kong. It’s also very pleasing that we can reward some of our young players for their efforts in the Youth Cup with the chance to gain some invaluable experience.”
