Porto have revealed that Manchester United have not yet made a move for Jose Bosingwa, but have rejected Aston Villa’s bid stressing that they want to keep the talented defender.
The Red Devils and Villa have been persistently linked with the 25-year-old Portugal international right-sided player.
Porto president Pinto da Costa told O Jogo: "We have not had a proposal [from Manchester United].
"In the past year, Aston Villa revealed themselves to be an interested party, but we did not accept the proposal.
"He is another of the players we intend to keep."
