Manchester United forward Carlos Tevez has said Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence on the field is like ‘having an extra player’.

Ronaldo, who was fiercely linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer, played a key role in helping Sir Alex Ferguson’s side to Premiership and European glory last season, as he scored a whopping 42 goals in all competitions.

He, however, is yet to feature for the Red Devils this season, but the wait is about to be over as the former Sporting ace is expected to at least make it to the bench tomorrow at Old Trafford.

"Cristiano is a massive player for us. It is like having an extra player when he is there," said Tevez.

"He is such a danger to our opponents. It will be a big boost to have him back."height="198" />
