Manchester United are set to loan new signing Manucho to Greek club Panathinaikos for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old Angola forward, who has three-year deal at Old Trafford after successfully undergoing a trials for the Red Devils move late last year, is currently representing his country at the African Cup of Nations. He has yet to get a work permit to ply his trade in the English game.

"After the tournament I will return to Luanda and then head to Athens," he told Angola tv.

"I am looking forward to playing in Greece before hopefully being a success at Old Trafford."
