Man United’s Hargreaves – “ We Want To Surpass Last Season”
Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has urged fans to be patient and unperturbed over their slow start and assures that the Red Devils will ‘peak at the important times’.
Hargreaves has been suffering from a niggling tendinitis problem, but is certain of Sir Alex Ferguson's side going on to attain better results than last year’s grand double.
The England international told the Daily Star: "We want to do what we did last season and more... We need to peak at the important times and the ultimate goal is to match or surpass last season. It’s a big ask but we will try."
"Last season we started slowly but there wasn’t an ounce of doubt or any panic... More often than not, if we play to our potential, our best is better than anyone else’s best – and that means we will win the game."
