Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson could bring back Wayne Rooney for the final day encounter against Wigan on Sunday.
The England striker has missed the last two games after aggravating his hip problem in the 2-1 defeat at Chelsea late last month.
The Red Devils now need a victory at the JJB Stadium to retain their Premiership title, and Ferguson would rather not look beyond the weekend’s encounter to May 21st Champions League finals against Chelsea, and field the 23-year-old ace against the Latics.
Defender Nemanja Vidic, who has missed the last two games following his concussion suffered at Stamford Bridge, however, will return at Wigan.
