Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who has been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal, looks set to stay at the Amsterdam Arena as Ajax's new manager Marco van Basten has named him captain of the Dutch club.
The 24-year-old Dutch international striker, who is also reportedly interesting Spanish giants Real Madrid, has been surrounded by speculation this summer suggesting that he is likely to move on for a new challenge.
