Manchester City have sealed a loan-deal with Inter Milan for 17-year-old Filippo Mancini.

Filippo Mancini is the son of former Italy and Sampdoria legend Roberto Mancini who, incidentally, is the current Internazionale head coach.

Mancini has been training with the Manchester City squad at Eastlands for the past week and has impressed City boss Sven Goran Eriksson enough for the Swede to offer him a loan contract.

Mancini made his one and only first-team appearance for Inter Milan after coming on for the last 10 minutes in a 3-0 win against Reggina in the return leg of the Coppa Italia 2007-08 round of 16.
