Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha has been stretchered off early in the second half of the Premiership clash against Chelsea at the City of Manchester Stadium on Saturday.

The England U-21 international looked in lot of pain suffering a seemingly serious injury probably to his arm after an awkward fall, under a challenge from Blues midfielder Michael Essien.

City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson sent on Sun Jihai as the replacement in the 59th minute with the hosts trailing 2-0 to Chelsea.
