Manchester City are being linked with Fenerbahçe’s Turkey international goalkeeper Volkan Demirel.
According to Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, the Citizens are said to be considering an £7.9m (€10 million) offer for the 26-year-old.
City boss Mark Hughes is looking to bring in a custodian to challenge promising youngster Joe Hart, and has also been linked with Blackburn’s Brad Friedel.
City are lighter in the goalkeeping department after Andreas Isaksson left the Premiership outfit for PSV Eindhoven.
