Man City Boss Eriksson Hints At Bojinov’s Premier League Comeback Before Season Ends

Manchester City Player Injury and Suspension News

Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has suggested that Valeri Bojinov could make his comeback before the end of the season.

The 22-year-old Bulgarian striker had suffered a cruciate knee injury in the early days of the campaign, but has made a recovery and featured in the reserves games. However, he has not yet regained his full match fitness.

Eriksson said in the Manchester Evening News: "He has shown a great improvement and while he is far away from 100 per cent match fitness he is physically able to do everything we ask of him.

"It would be mentally very good for him to have one more taste of the Premier League before the season finishes."
